This is the perfect vegetable side dish to make for large gatherings. It's almost effortless and so delicious.
6-8 ears fresh corn on the cob in their husks
olive oil
salt and pepper
2/3 c. water
butter, to taste
Husk all of the ears of corn. Lightly brush corn with olive oil; season with salt and pepper.
Pour 2/3 c. water in the slow cooker; add in corn cobs; cover.
Cook 3-4 hours on High. When corn is a bright yellow and hot, stir in butter to taste.
6-8 servings.
*You may need to cut corn to fit in your slow cooker.
