You can make Carrabba's bread dipping oil at home with ingredients that are probably already in your kitchen. It's a great appetizer to serve with many meals.
1 T. crushed red pepper flakes
1 T. freshly ground black pepper
1 T. dried oregano
1 T. dried basil
1 T. dried parsley
1 1/2 t. garlic powder
1 1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. dried rosemary
1 1/2 t. coarse sea salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
extra virgin olive oil, for serving
crusty bread, for serving
Combine the crushed red pepper flakes, pepper, oregano, basil, parsley, garlic and onion powders, rosemary, salt and garlic; mix well.
When ready to serve, place the spice mixture in a shallow plate or bowl. Drizzle on the desired amount of olive oil.
Serve with your favorite crusty bread.
4 servings.
Tip: Wait to combine the olive oil and dry spices until right before serving.
