Description

These are not your grandmother's Brussels sprouts. This special vegetable is flavorful, crispy and cheesy. It's easy to prepare and can be ready in about 30 minutes, making the perfect holiday side dish.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts, stemmed, halved
3 T. olive oil
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 t. Italian seasoning
salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed sheet pan with aluminum foil.

In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil. Add remaining ingredients; toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.

Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan.

Bake, stirring halfway through, until tender and crispy, 20–25 minutes.

8 servings.

*Tip: For a sweeter flavor, drizzle with a balsamic glaze after roasting.
