Description

This is the perfect dessert to impress family and guests. It's elegant in its presentation but so easy to make. It's made with a boxed spice cake mix, pears, brown sugar and cinnamon. Yum!

Ingredients

• 1/4 c. butter
• 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
• 2 medium pears, peeled
• 1 t. cinnamon
• 15.25 oz. package Betty Crocker super Moist cake mix
• 1 c. water
• 1/3 c. oil
• 3 large eggs

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place butter in a 9″ round cake pan; heat in hot oven until butter is melted. Once melted, sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter.
3. Cut peeled pears in half lengthwise; remove and discard cores. Cut pears lengthwise in 1/4″ thick slices; place in a large bowl. Sprinkle pears with cinnamon; gently toss to coat.
