Use store bought crescent rolls to make a yummy appetizer that everyone will enjoy. They are so easy to make and so delicious, you'll want to serve them for the busy holidays or fun get togethers.
16 oz. ground pork sausage, cooked, drained and cooled
8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. ground black pepper
1/4 t. onion powder
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. fresh rosemary, chopped
1/4 t. fresh sage, chopped
1 t. fresh parsley, chopped
2 - 8 oz. cans Pillsbury original crescent rolls
1 egg, whisked
Cook and crumble the sausage in a skillet; discard grease; set aside to cool completely.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate crescent roll into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise, making 2 triangles.
Stir the cooled sausage, cream cheese, and seasonings together.
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop sausage filling onto the larger end of each triangle; roll up, starting at the large end. Place filled triangles on the prepared baking sheet, with 1 inch between each roll. Brush each roll with whisked egg.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve hot.
