These salmon fillets are perfect to serve for those busy days when time to make dinner is lacking. The air fryer not only is quick, but the salmon is delicious, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside.
4 - 6 oz. salmon fillets, fresh or frozen (king, coho, or sockeye)
2 T. Dijon mustard
1 t. paprika
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. kosher salt
1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
olive oil spray
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick.
On each salmon fillet, spread 1/2 T. Dijon mustard evenly on each fillet in a thin layer.
Sprinkle each of the individual spices straight onto the salmon fillets. It doesn't have to be an exact measurement. Start with salt and pepper, then generously coat with garlic powder and paprika. Finish with a quick spray of olive oil on the tops to keep the fillets moist.
Add 2 fillets to the air fryer; cook 8 - 10 minutes, until flaky with a fork. Repeat with the remaining 2 salmon fillets.
4 servings.
