These crackers are made with just one simple ingredient, cheese. They are low carb, Keto friendly, high in fat, delicious and crispy.
4 pieces thinly sliced cheese (Sargento brand is great)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
Cut the 4 cheese slices into quarters, each cheese slice will yield 4 pieces.
Transfer each square to the baking sheet, placing them about 1/2 inch apart so that they won’t melt into each other.
Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes, or until crispy.
Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Allow the crackers to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the parchment paper.
These low-carb cheese crackers are best when eaten immediately.
Makes 2 servings, 16 crackers.
*Thicker slices can be used, but they will melt down more and you won’t always get a nice, crisp cracker.
** If making too many, store them in an airtight container and eat them the next day. The texture changes slightly but they’re still good.
