This is a quick and easy breakfast or dessert that's made with just a few ingredients that are probably already in your pantry. It's ready to enjoy in about 10 minutes.
1/2 c. plus 1 T. all-purpose flour
3/4 t. baking powder
1/8 t. salt
1/4 c. milk
2 T. butter melted, divided
1 T. granulated sugar
1 t. ground cinnamon
Glaze:
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 t. milk
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk; mix until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a clean, lightly floured surface; knead a few times until smooth. Roll the dough out into a strip about 3 inches wide and 12 to 16 inches long.
Generously brush the inside of a microwave safe coffee mug with some melted butter. Brush the remaining melted butter onto the rolled out dough. Sprinkle the dough with granulated sugar and cinnamon. Starting at one end, roll the dough up to look like a cinnamon roll.
Place the roll in the prepred mug. Microwave on High heat for 60 seconds until the dough is set.
In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze. Pour the glaze over the hot cinnamon roll.
Cool slightly.
Serve.
