Lemon lovers, this cake is for you. It's absolutely delicious and easy to make. It just takes 2 ingredients to make a dessert that everyone will enjoy. Make it even better with a bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
1 box angel food cake mix
22 oz. can lemon pie filling
powdered sugar, optional
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, stir together the angel food cake mix and the lemon pie filling. When fully mixed, add to the prepared pan.
Bake for about 35 minutes, until fully cooked and the top is lightly browned.
Let the cake cool completely.
Cut into 24 bars. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
