Celebrate St. Patrick's Day or the whole month of March with homemade shamrock shakes. They are delicious and minty fresh.
3 c. vanilla bean ice cream
1 1/2 c. whole milk
1 1/2 t. pure mint extract
1 t. vanilla extract
9 drops green food coloring
whipped cream, cherries, and fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
Add the ice cream, milk, both extracts, and food coloring to a blender; blend until thick and creamy, about 30 seconds.
Pour the mixture into 2 tall glasses.
Garnish with whipped cream, cherries, and fresh mint.
Serve with a straw.
