Have fun decorating Easter eggs with the family using this easy method. All that is needed is either Cool Whip or shaving cream, gel food coloring and of course, hard boiled eggs.
Cool Whip or shaving cream
12 hard boiled eggs
gel food colorings
toothpicks, to swirl the colors
Using a muffin tin, load up each hole/well with shaving cream or Cool Whip. Add a few drops of gel food coloring to each hole. You can do at least 2 colors in each one.
Using a toothpick, lightly swirl the color around. Don't mix it up too much or you won’t have a big color contrast on the eggs.
Place the hard boiled eggs in each hole; lightly press down. Leave the eggs there for about 10 minutes; very carefully flip them over. Leave another 10 minutes.
Lightly rinse the eggs off. Place them on paper towels or kitchen towel to dry.
