Whether it's too hot outside to grill, it's too cold or you just want corn on the cob when the temperature outside is just right, using your crock pot to cook them is a win, no matter how you look at it.
6 - 8 fresh ears of corn, husked
4 T. butter
optional favorite seasonings, to taste
Place husked corn on pieces of aluminum foil. Place about 1/2 T. butter on corn cob. Sprinkle on salt and/or favorite seasonings.
Finish wrapping corn in the foil; place in the crockpot.
Cook on Low 4 - 5 hours or on HIGH 2 - 2 1/2 hours.
6-8 servings.
