Get all of the yummy goodness of campfire s'mores without the campfire with this twist on the original recipe. It's made with delicious layers of brownies, marshmallows and chocolate.
1 package brownie mix plus ingredients listed in instructions or your favorite recipe
2 small boxes instant chocolate pudding
1 sleeve graham crackers, broken
1 Cool Whip
1 small jar marshmallow creme/fluff
1 c. mini-marshmallows
1 Hershey's chocolate bar
Bake brownies according to package directions in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Cool. Cut up into chunks.
While the brownies bake and cool, make the pudding according to package direction; chop the graham crackers or break them up in a baggie.
In a trifle dish, add a layer of brownie pieces, probably a little less than half the chopped brownies.
Top the brownie pieces with about half of the pudding. Add a layer of broken graham crackers on top of the chocolate pudding, making sure that the pudding is covered well with the graham crackers.
Turn on the broiler.
Mix half of the Cool Whip and mix it in a bowl with half of the marshmallow creme. It's okay if it's will lumpy. Spread it over the graham cracker layer.
Repeat all the layers again, ending with the marshmallow Cool Whip mixture.
Broil the marshmallows on a baking pan just until golden This will only take a few seconds. Let them cool; sprinkle over the top of the whipped layer.
Garnish with some crushed graham crackers and some chopped or shaved Hershey bar candy.
Refrigerate for a few hours so that all of the flavors meld together.
Serve cold.
