Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes

Description

There's no need to use your oven and heat up the kitchen when making these yummy potatoes. They taste just like they are oven baked.

Ingredients

2 lb. Russet potatoes, thinly sliced (about 8 small potatoes)*
non-stick cooking spray
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. black pepper
1 oz. packet Lipton Onion Soup mix
1/3 c. olive oil or vegetable oil

Spray a 4 quart or larger slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

Place the sliced potatoes in the slow cooker in a spiral design, if desired. Sprinkle the garlic powder, black pepper and onion soup mix over the potatoes. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the potatoes.

Cover. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours, opening the lid during the cooking time.

8 servings.

* Russet potatoes hold up extremely well in the slow cooker, but if you don’t have these, Yukon gold or red potatoes could be used.
