This easy appetizer will knock your socks off. It's the Greek take on the famous 7 layer dip, and is packed with Kalamata olives, cucumbers, green onion,s tomatoes, hummus, and cream cheese served with pita chips for dipping.
8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
1 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 t. dried Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. prepared hummus
3/4 c. chopped cucumber
3/4 c. chopped tomato
1/2 c. chopped pitted Kalamata olives
1/2 c. crumbled feta cheese
1/4 c. sliced green onions
pita chips, for dipping
Add cream cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning and garlic in a medium bowl; beat with an electric mixer until combined.
Spread the cream cheese mixture into a serving dish; spread on the hummus; top with the remaining ingredients. Cover.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 12 hours.
Serve with pita chips.
