Description
This easy appetizer will knock your socks off. It's the Greek take on the famous 7 layer dip, and is packed with Kalamata olives, cucumbers, green onion,s tomatoes, hummus, and cream cheese served with pita chips for dipping.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 t. dried Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 c. prepared hummus
- 3/4 c. chopped cucumber
- 3/4 c. chopped tomato
- 1/2 c. chopped pitted Kalamata olives
- 1/2 c. crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 c. sliced green onions
- pita chips, for dipping
Steps
- Add cream cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning and garlic in a medium bowl; beat with an electric mixer until combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture into a serving dish; spread on the hummus; top with the remaining ingredients. Cover.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 12 hours.
