Description

Growing up, most of us enjoyed a Shirley Temple, made with grenadine added to lemon-lime soda and garnished with a cherry. Now, as an adult, you can enjoy a more grown-up version of that famous drink by adding a bit of vodka.

Ingredients

• 2 oz. vodka
• 1 oz. grenadine
• ice cubes
• 6-8 oz. lemon-lime soda (7UP or Sprite), chilled, to top
• maraschino cherry, for garnish

Steps

1. Add the vodka and grenadine to a highball glass filled with ice. Top with the lemon-lime soda. Sir gently and briefly to combine.
2. Serve, garnished with a maraschino cherry.
3. 1 adult cocktail.
