Description
Serve this pasta salad at your next gathering. The bowtie pasta is tossed with crispy bacon, romaine lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, and feta cheese and a creamy dressing.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. bowtie pasta
- 1/4 c. light mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 1/2 t. Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 t. salt
- 4 c. lightly packed sliced romaine lettuce
- 1/2 lb. sliced bacon, crisply cooked and chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 2 avocados, diced
- 1/4 c. feta cheese crumbled
- black pepper, to taste
Steps
- Cook pasta in well salted boiling water according to package directions, about 11 minutes; drain; rinse under cold water until cooled.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic and salt. Add the romaine, bacon, tomatoes and avocados; toss lightly until well coated.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
