This just might be the easiest cake ever to make. So easy that you would think that it couldn't possibly be delicious, but you would be wrong.
1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jell-o
3/4 c. cooking oil
1 c. chopped nuts
4 eggs
2 T. flour
10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries (or 1 pint fresh strawberries, chopped with 1/2 c. sugar)
whipped cream, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients; beat well. Pour into an angel food cake pan (not a bundt pan-for a lighter, airier slice of cake).
Bake for 45 minutes until done.
Serve plain or with whipped cream, or strawberry icing.
