This twist on the classic Tiramisu will make this dessert a huge favorite that will get rave reviews. Who doesn't like strawberries, ladyfingers, chocolate and white chocolate?
2 c. heavy whipping cream
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. (4 oz.) mascarpone cheese
9 oz. white baking chocolate, melted and cooled
1 c. powdered sugar, divided
1 t. vanilla extract
2 packages (3 oz. each) ladyfingers, split
2/3 c. orange juice
4 c. sliced fresh strawberries
chocolate syrup, optional
In a large bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form.
In another bowl, beat both cheeses until light and fluffy. Beat in the cooled chocolate, 1/2 c. powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold in the 2 c. whipped cream.
Brush half of the ladyfingers with half of the orange juice; arrange in a 13x9" dish. Spread on 2 c. cream cheese mixture; top with half of the strawberries. Brush remaining ladyfingers with the remaining orange juice; arrange over the strawberries.
Gently stir remaining 1/2 c. powdered sugar into the remaining cream cheese mixture; fold in the remaining whipped cream. Spread over the ladyfingers. Top with the remaining strawberries.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve, drizzled with chocolate syrup.
