The whole family can celebrate the season by making these fun scarecrow popcorn balls. They are cute and delicious and add a festive touch to any gathering.

Ingredients

• Popcorn Balls:
• 1/4 c. butter
• 40 Jet-Puffed Marshmallows
• 1/2 t. vanilla extract
• 3 qt. (12 c.) popped popcorn
• Scarecrows:
• ice cream cones for hats
• black frosting for mouths and patches
• candy corn for noses
• chocolate chips for eyes
• pretzel sticks for straw hair

Steps

1. Popcorn Balls:
2. Melt the butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and vanilla; cook until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly.
3. Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl; add the marshmallow mixture; toss until popcorn is evenly coated with marshmallow mixture. Shape into balls with lightly greased hands. Place balls on waxed paper; let popcorn balls cool and firm up.
