So you think that you don't like Brussels sprouts. Well, think again. These not only are healthy, but sweet and delicious too.
2 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved*
1/4 c. melted butter
2 T. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, each cut into 4 pieces
1/2 t. black pepper
1/4 t. salt
1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.
Add prepared Brussels sprouts to a large bowl; add the garlic to the bowl. Drizzle on the melted butter and olive oil; season with salt and pepper; toss.
Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
Roast until the sprouts are tender, about 20-25 minutes. During the last 5 minutes of roasting time, sprinkle on Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately.
