Description

These delicious sausage filled crescent rolls are very versatile. Serve them as an appetizer or as a light meal. They can be ready in less than an hour.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground sausage
10 oz. can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 - 8 oz. cans crescent roll dough

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it’s browned and fully cooked. Discard excess grease.

Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet with the sausage; stir until melted and combined. Stir in the drained Rotel.

Roll out the crescent roll dough on a flat surface; separate into triangles.

Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of the crescent triangles. Roll triangles from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling.

Place the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve while still warm.
