Description

Serve these cute turkey donuts for breakfast, snack or dessert on Thanksgiving. The whole family can help do the decorating, it's so easy.

Ingredients

• 6 chocolate frosted donuts
• 6 Nutter butter Cookies
• 1/3 c. chocolate frosting
• 12 mini candy eyes
• 12 candy coated sunflower seeds, 6 red, 6 orange
• 48 pieces of candy corn

Steps

1. Use a toothpick to apply frosting to attach 2 candy eyes, along with candy-coated sunflower seeds for the beak and wattle, to the top half of each cookie. Set aside for at least 15 minutes to allow the frosting set.
2. Spread frosting on pieces of the candy corn using a butter knife; stick them to the top back half of each donut, covering just under half.
3. Gently press the decorated cookies into the center hole of each donut, ensuring that they stand upright. Add more frosting for extra support, if necessary.
