Description
This burrata caprese is very versatile. It can be served as an appetizer or as a salad. Not only that, it's delicious, quic and simple to prepare.
Ingredients
- 2 pints (20 oz.) heirloom cherry tomatoes
- 2 balls burrata
- 1/4 c. fresh basil leaves
- 2 T. good quality olive oil
- 1 T. balsamic glaze
- 2 pinches flaky salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Steps
- Rinse and dry tomatoes; cut them in half. Place tomatoes on a platter; place the burrata in the middle.
- Cut the burrata to expose the gooey center. Sprinkle on the flaky salt and some freshly ground pepper. Drizzle on the olive oil and balsamic glaze.
- Serve, topped with fresh basil leaves.
