Description
This easy and delicious pear dish makes a great appetizer, dessert or snack. It's elegant enough to serve on holidays and special occasions. You only need 5 ingredients and is ready in about 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 3 Anjou pears, ripe but not too soft (or Concorde pears)
- 1 T. honey, divided plus more for serving
- 6 thyme sprigs, plus more for garnish
- 6 t. Gorgonzola cheese
- 6 halves or chopped walnuts, for garnish
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 390 degrees F.
- Cut pears into halves lengthwise. Scoop out and discard the seeds with a teaspoon or a melon baller.
- Place the halves open-faced on a sheet pan or baking dish. Drizzle with honey; place the thyme sprigs on top.
