Easy and wonderfully delicious are the words used to describe this strawberry cheesecake dump cake. It's perfect for spring and summertime gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 21 oz. cans strawberry pie filling
• 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted
• 1/2 t. vanilla extract
• whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for optional serving

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x13" baking dish.
2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy. Spoon dollops of this mixture over the pie filling.
