Description

This yummy cake starts with a store bought box cake, which makes it so easy to prepare. It's delicious and has a tangy cream cheese layer.

Ingredients

• Cake Batter:
• 15.25 oz. box yellow cake mix
• 1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
• 1 c. chopped pecans
• 1 c. coconut flakes
• 3 eggs
• Cream Cheese Layer:
• 3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
• 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 1 egg
• 1 t. vanilla extract

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 dish; set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, beat cake mix, butter, pecans, coconut flakes and eggs. Combine well; pour into the prepared dish; spread out to cover the bottom of the pan.
3. In another bowl, beat the powdered sugar, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla. Once combined, pour over the crust.
