Style icon Sarah Jessica Parker covers the latest edition of Net-a-Porter's digital magazine, The Edit. It's the Power Issue, and SJP is certainly a power player. (Remember her Anna Wintour-sponsored Obama fundraising dinner that shut down the West Village?)

She talked about the usual (Sex and the City, being a mom, her iconic wardrobe) but also said she'll be disappointed if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton doesn't run for president. "I'm a huge fan of Hillary Clinton. Her curiosity is so compelling to me, her desire to listen and learn and travel. Personally, and I mean this with all sincerity, I will be very, very sad if she doesn't choose to run." Parker said. "I think she has so much to offer and is equipped to do it well, to be thoughtful, reasonable, strong, authoritative, empathetic."

SJP also praised Lena Dunham, for whom Sex and the City definitely paved the way. "HBO was very encouraging of the beyond-camera role I played, and I feel that had we not done it, I don't know that would have existed for Girls," she said. "She needs to be in charge of the story as it's her voice. I do feel Sex and the City's success made that possible, and it would have been different otherwise."
