Sign up for college, classes started on the 17th last week and now I have to drop out because of Rent A Center. Unless i figure something out fast. They really screwed me. I got a laptop from there for my school work. Major problems. First they bring me one late afternoon next day after I paid for it. Didn't work and my model number on computer didn't match the paperwork they gave me. So I call and was told i. Would have another one brought to me that night and didn't happen till next day in late afternoon. Still had problems with that one and serial numbers on laptop didn't match this one they brought either. It was Aug 10 when I paid for it then by time it was done I didn't get last one till Aug 14 in afternoon. So I talked to main office and she told me bring it back and they will give me my money back. Now I have to wait up til 5 days for Money to go back in my account. If they would of just gave me my money back when I first started having issues with the first laptop I would have my money back in time to where I could have a laptop for today for my classes. But they kept insisting they will make it right and refused to give money back to me. So now I have classes today and can't do it. Unless I find away to get one today I have no choice but to drop out and I have to pay everything which is $67,982. Thanks Rent A Center in Winter Garden FL. You really screwed me in so many ways. Bad enough once it would of been paid for it would of been 90% interest on a used laptop. Close to $1000 said n done. It's bullshit they screw there customers like that especially first time customers and when I explained what I needed it for aand what it had to be compatible with for my school. How am I going to come up with my full tuition now that you're making me drop out. I don't want to I was so happy I was going back to school to better my life and become somebody to take care of my daughters better and give them a life I never had. I'm 33 year old single mom that wanted to go further in life than living in a one bedroom trailer. Top it off my courses and what I had in mind after I would of graduated would of helped the homeless also. It was a win win situation for everyone if I could do this. So Thank you again Rent A Center for costing me my life and $67,982 plus interest on some of that!!!!!!!!!!!!
