This 15 year old performed in festivities at the Presidential Inauguration. And then a week later she was dead. Hadiya Pendleton was walking with her volleyball team in a park in Chicago when it started raining. They ducked for cover under a canopy in the park. Just at that moment, a gunman ran down the alley opening fire and striking Pendleton. She passed away at the hospital.
