Nope, it's not the mythical shark in the 2013 movie "Ghost Shark" (which was a really weird movie by the way). This is the Chimaera or more commonly referred to as ghost shark or elephant shark.

It's a somewhat distant hybrid cousin of stingrays and sharks because it shares some key features. This animal uses it's long snout to shift through sand and detect potential prey to eat. Also, it has poisonous spine and did we mention the retractable sex organ?
