The Trump administration claimed Friday that
they've sold $1.3 billion worth of Trump's new
$1 million immigration "gold card."
President Trump showed off the card - which
he called "essentially a green card on
steroids" - during a White House event on
Friday. He said the money from sales goes

Sales Top $1 Billion
The gold card allows wealthy foreigners to pay
$1 million, or companies to pay $2 million, to
gain fast-tracked legal status in the U.S. –
meaning $1.3 billion in sales is equivalent to up
to 1,300 cards.
The program went live on Dec. 10. According
to the website, applicants must first pay a
nonrefundable $15,000 processing fee to
apply. After being vetted with a complete
background check by the Department of
