Even though summer is already near its end the states of Nevada and Arizona have recently reported a surge of heatwave in their areas causing emergency services to set up cooling stations every city block or so. This was done in order to avoid the risk of a heatstroke among their citizens as lack of information about the effects of the heatwave caused hundreds to die in the past.
This strange weather phenomenon has been going on for decades now as the Earth's climate keeps shifting. Before the heatwave phenomenon there was also El Niño and La Niña weather anomaly and we all know the devastating effects of that in crops and vegetation as well as our water supply. Until we can manipulate the weather to bring balance back into it we will have to do what we can to survive such harsh conditions.
