This Thanksgiving season, as many gather around tables filled with abundance, the children at Nsubuga Jacob Homes in Uganda face a starkly different reality. These young souls, many of whom have been orphaned or abandoned, struggle daily with hunger and malnutrition. Their fragile bodies and hopeful hearts tell stories of resilience amid hardship. Each day, they yearn not for luxury but for a special meal on a plate of food that can restore strength and dignity.

‎The Nsubuga Jacob Homes have long served as a beacon of compassion, offering shelter, care and education to Uganda’s most vulnerable children. Yet, the rising cost of food and limited resources have left the home in dire need of support. Without immediate assistance, many children will continue to go to bed hungry, their dreams dimmed by the pangs of starvation.
