Today I visited the family of Machakos County Senator Agnes Kavindu and former Machakos Senator and Commissioner Johnson Muthama to mourn with them and offer my heartfelt condolences following the sudden and devastating loss of their only son, Moses Muthama Nduya.
I was joined in solidarity by H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, Dr Oburu Odinga, Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr and Rev. Dorcus Rigathi as we stood together with the family during this painful moment of grief.
This is a moment of profound sorrow for both leaders and for their entire family. The loss of a child is a pain beyond human understanding, and to lose their only son is a burden no parent should ever have to bear. Moses was their pride and joy, a young man full of promise, purpose and dreams for the future. His life was a blessing to his parents and to all who knew him, and his memory will remain a source of strength and comfort even in this season of deep mourning.
As Party Leader and as a friend, I stand in full solidarity with Senator Agnes Kavindu Muthama, Commissioner Johnson Muthama and their entire family. We mourn with you, we pray with you and we share in your loss. May the Almighty grant you strength, comfort and peace as you navigate this difficult season. May the soul of Moses Muthama Nduya rest in eternal peace.
Also present were Hon. Robert Mbui, Hon. Patrick Makau, Hon. Edith Nyenze, Hon. Jessica Mbalu, Hon. Kivasu Nzioka, Hon. Joshua Kimilu, Sen. Dan Maanzo, Hon. Stephen Mule, Hon. Julius Mawathe and Sen. Karungo Wa Thang’wa., Wiper Party Deputy Organising Secretary Muriuki Ndwiga, MCAs from Kitui and Machakos counties, Adv. Ndegwa Njiru, Victor Munyaka, among other leaders, aspirants and young Wiper patriots who came to stand with the family in unity and compassion.
