We think Cinderella's gown has one serious contender.

The infamous Met Gala (so-called Oscars of the fashion world) always manage to awe everyone when celebrities show up in amazing creations by various designers all wanting to their take on the year's theme. This year is no different.

The theme “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” promised to bring out a new set of creativity in the fashion world and it did not disappoint. Major designers such as Marchesa, Balmain, Channel and others dressed the stars in the most elaborate designs - but no one could certainly top Zac Posen's majestic creation.

When the fashion house released a sneak peak of the luminous gown completely lit up, it captivated the internet. Fans were quick to ask who the lucky wearer would be. Turns out that Claire Danes is the new Cinderella of this era. On the red carpet, the gown was beautiful but only looked like a strapless light blue gown with a full skirt. But when the lights were out, Claire literally lit up the room with her gown.
