The Turkish government it seems is in disarray as it faces threats from both Syria and its own people, but Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan might lose his leadership as the people are disgusted over his totalitarian style of governance. This has marked the bloodiest protest in the history of Turkey with 2 people have already been reported killed and thousands injured on a protest covering several dozen major cities of Turkey.
The delicate situation might be blown out of proportion should war break out between Syria and Turkey or worst if Israel will get involved like it has just a few weeks ago. It is unclear which Erdoğan will lose first his country or his position as Prime Minister of Turkey. But if he continues to refuse open dialogues with protesters one thing is for certain and that is the political and economic stability of Turkey will be shaken indefinitely.
