All bad things must come to an end.

The (unfortunately) inevitable ending for the Emmy Award-winning series “Breaking Bad” is now on the run. And while all of us are in cold sweat waiting for answers to our questions (Who is Walt really going after? Will he save Jesse? Is this really a prequel for “Malcolm In The Middle”?), along the way, some tidbits of information will come out of the almighty Internet, that will make us all blurt “You’re kidding, right? Because I hope you are.”

Case in point, John Cusack (yep that comical guy in the rom-com “America’s Sweethearts”) and Matthew Broderick (yep, Inspector Gadget) were offered the role of Walter White. Though an online rumor circulated that Cusack turned it down, he categorically denied. A script was given to him, but it was not offered.

Broderick, on the other hand, was also on the initial list, along with other actors that were considered. Yes, they were effectively funny actors, a far cry from the brooding, calculating personality of Heisenberg (White’s alias). But let us remember that before the now Critically-acclaimed Bryan Cranston serendipitously landed the role, he also made us laugh in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle (yep, he’s that father we never took seriously).

And did I mention Jesse Pinkman’s character is supposed to not survive the first season? “Breaking Bad’ really owes us a lot of revelations, but the biggest ones lie in its ultimate ending.
