These cookies are almost too cute to eat. But they are so yummy, please do!
1 pouch sugar cookie mix
1 pouch each cookie icing in white, red, blue and green
1 tube black decorating gel
1 pouch candy decors rainbow chips, M&M's or other candies
1 bottle chocolate sprinkles
12 marshmallows
Follow baking directions for the sugar cookies, dividing dough evenly into 12 round cookies. Remove from oven to cool completely.
On cooled cookies, make a snow puddle with the white icing, first drawing the outline of the puddle, then going back and filling in the shape.
While the icing is still wet, immediately place a marshmallow to one side of the cookies.
Once the icing and marshmallows have set, make the arms by piping 2 “branches” onto each cookie by using the black gel; add fingers with chocolate sprinkles.
Using a small dot of white cookie icing to stick 2 “coal” eyes and a nose onto the marshmallow with rainbow chips; pipe a small dot for the mouth with black gel.
Use blue, red, or green cookie icing to make the scarves and buttons. Carefully draw scarves around the base of the marshmallow. Using a small dot of white cookie icing to stick 3 “coal” buttons beneath the scarf with rainbow chips.
Allow cookies to set for at least 1 hour.
