After a little preparation, this chili is basically a set and forget dish. It's tasty, healthy and easy to make.
Ingredients
1 lb. 99% fat-free ground chicken (or fat-free ground turkey)
15 oz. can kidney beans, drained (or black bean or pinto beans, drained)
14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chiles

1 small onion, chopped
1 T. chili powder
1 t. cumin
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 t. salt

Cook the ground chicken in a skillet, breaking it apart, creating crumbles.
Add the cooked chicken to a slow cooker; add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, onion and spices. Stir to combine.
Set the slow cooker to High. Cook for 4 hours.
Serve.
6 one cup servings.
Tips:
Adjust the heat level by changing the amount of chili powder to suit your taste.
Garnish with cilantro, lime, or fat-free sour cream for more flavor.
