Description
Everyone will surely love this new and improved chicken salad recipe. Starting with canned chicken makes it quick and easy to enjoy in about 10 minutes. Add a bit of mayonnaise, chopped celery, onion and lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
Ingredients
- 12.5 oz. can chicken breast in water, drained
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped (about 1/2 c.)
- 2 T. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 c. shredded carrots, optional
- 2 t. lemon juice
- dash lemon pepper seasoning
- 8 bread slices
Steps
- Stir the drained chicken, mayonnaise, celery, onion, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning and shredded carrots, if using, in a bowl.
- Divide the chicken mixture among 4 bread slices; top with remaining bread slices.
- 4 servings.
