Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

Description

This is definitely a wow dinner! It's so delicious, it tastes like you put in a lot of time and effort to prepare it, but it's ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 8 oz. noodles, any type
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 1 t. hoisin sauce
  • 1 T. sesame oil
  • 1 t. ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 c. green onions, chopped
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
  • sesame seeds and fresh cilantro, for optional garnish

Steps

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain; set aside.
  2. While the noodles are cooking, heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add the ground beef; cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Discard excess grease.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet; sauté for 1-2 minutes. Stir in bell peppers; cook 3-4 minutes until tender. Add soy sauce and hoisin sauce; mix well.
