Ingredients
- Burger Filling:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, to taste
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or Mozzarella cheese
- crispy bacon, pickles, and or caramelized onions, optional
- Dough Wrapping:
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuit or pizza dough, cut into 8-12 circles, flattened
- Garlic Parmesan Topping:
- 2 T. butter, melted
- 1 t. minced garlic or garlic powder
- 2 T. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- chopped fresh parsley
- Dipping Sauce choices; Ranch, garlic aioli, or spicy mayo
Steps
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until nicely browned and no longer pink. Discard excess fat. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Let the mixture cool completely. Stir in the shredded cheese until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Flatten each piece of dough into a circle about 4 inches across. Place 1-2 T. of the cooled burger filling into each one of the centers. The filling should be completely cooled before assembling, or the heat will make the dough difficult to work with! Carefully pinch the dough edges together to seal completely. Gently roll each one into a smooth ball.
