Ingredients
- 2 lb. thick cut chicken tenders, about 12 tenders (NOT the kind for stir fry)
- 1 lb. bacon
- black pepper
- cayenne pepper
- Montreal Steak Seasoning (or favorite all- purpose seasoning)
- 1 1/2 T. brown sugar
- 1 packet Ranch dressing mix (plus the ingredients listed on the packet to prepare the dressing, like mayonnaise and milk)
- 1 heaping t. The Spice Way tomato powder or 1 t. ketchup*
- dried parsley
- foavorite kind of greens for the salad
- 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced or chopped
Steps
- Remove the chicken tenders from the package. Snip out any white tendon they sometimes have with my kitchen scissors. Pat dry with paper towels to ensure that the bacon sticks better.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
- Wrap each tender in a strip of bacon at an angle like a candy cane. You can still see parts of the chicken through the bacon.
