Remove the chicken tenders from the package. Snip out any white tendon they sometimes have with my kitchen scissors. Pat dry with paper towels to ensure that the bacon sticks better.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Wrap each tender in a strip of bacon at an angle like a candy cane. You can still see parts of the chicken through the bacon.
Place the tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Season the tenders with black and cayenne pepper, steak seasoning or all- purpose seasoning and the brown sugar.
Bake about 35 minutes. They are done when the bacon is crispy and the chicken is firm.
They can be broiled for several minutes to make them extra caramelized, if desired.
Dressing: Mix Ranch dressing mix according to package directions. Add the tomato powder or ketchup and the parsley; stir to combine. It can be made in advance, then refrigerated.
Serve the chicken with a the greens, sliced tomatoes and the dressing.
5 servings.
