Description

Everyone including the kids will love this tasty meal. It has layers of seasoned ground beef, creamy cheese, crunchy Doritos all garnished with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Casserole:
14 oz. bag Nacho Cheese Doritos
1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
10 1/2 oz. can Cheddar cheese soup
10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. can evaporated milk
4 oz. can diced green chilies
2–3 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese
1 packet taco seasoning

Optional Toppings:
sour cream
chopped green onions
sliced cherry tomatoes
sliced avocado
guacamole
salsa

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13” baking dish with non-stick spray.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; discard excess fat.

Stir in the taco seasoning with a bit of water; simmer for several minutes.

Add the Cheddar cheese soup, cream of chicken soup, evaporated milk, and diced green chilies to the beef; stir well. Cook until everything is heated through and bubbly.

Lightly crush about half of the Doritos lightly. Evenly spread them across the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.

Spoon half of the beef mixture over the chips and spread evenly.

Sprinkle about 1 c. shredded cheese over the beef layer.

Repeat the layers: crushed Doritos, remaining beef mixture, and top with lots of shredded cheese.

Bake uncovered for about 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Serve hot, garnished and pile with favorite toppings.
