If you would like a tasty, quick Asian stir fry that you stick in the slow cooker and forget until it’s ready then you really need to make this!
2 lbs. boneless beef – sliced in strips
2 cu. water
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 cu. soy sauce
2/3 cu. brown sugar
2 tbl. sesame oil
6 minced garlic cloves
4 tbl. cornstarch
1 large head fresh broccoli
3 cu. white rice – cooked according to pkg.
Add soy sauce, water, bouillon, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and garlic to your slow cooker and mix well. Add slices of beef and stir to coat with liquid mixture.
Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
When finished cooking, remove 4 tbl. of the sauce mix from the slow cooker and place in a small dish. Add the cornstarch and mix well then pour back into the slow cooker, mix well, add your broccoli at this point and cook for an additional 30 minutes to thicken.
Serve over rice and enjoy!
