This wonderfully cheesy and spicy dip will satisfy your cheese cravings. Serve it warm with tortilla chips, Fritos Scoops or bakery bread. Serve it as an appetizer or as a main dish for nachos.
32 oz. Velveeta Cheese
1- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, your choice of flavor or kind
1- 10 oz. can Rotel deiced tomatoes with green chilies
1-10.75 oz. can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 lb. lean ground beef or sausage, or combination of both
Brown meat in a pan over medium heat, drain, set aside.
Line crock pot with a crock pot/slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
Cut up Velveeta cheese and cream cheese into cubes, then place into a crock pot. Pour in the Rotel and soup, stir ingredients together. Place the crock pot on low setting for an hour, letting the ingredients meld together.
After about 30 minutes, add the browned meat and continue to let cook, stirring as needed.
