Description
These breakfast rolls will brighten your day. Made with pork sausage, cheese, onions and bell peppers mixed in crescent rolls, these rolls are easy to make, serve and eat. If you want to make it healthier, use turkey sausage and reduced-fat cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 lb. ground pork sausage, your choice of mildness
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 T. butter, melted
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 c. finely diced onions
- 1/4 c. finely diced green, yellow or red bell pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a skillet, cook pork sausage, add salt and pepper to taste, make sure to crumble sausage while it is cooking. Remove sausage to paper towel lined dish to drain.
- In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper, saute just until onion becomes translucent.
