Make the perfect pork chop meal. It is quick and easy as well as delicious too. The apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg just might have you thinking that you are having dessert with your pork chops!
2 T. reduced-fat butter, divided
4 boneless pork loin chops
3 T. brown sugar
1 t. ground cinnamon
1/2 t. ground nutmeg
1/4 t. salt
4 medium tart apples, thinly sliced
2 T. chopped pecans
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add pork chops and cook 4-5 minutes on each side. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and set aside.
Remove meat; keep warm. Add apples, pecans, brown sugar mixture and 1 T. butter to pan; cook and stir until apples are tender. Serve with chops.
