Make this tasty Italian dish when you are low on funds but still want a delicious meal. Maybe you just want a no meat meal that is tasty and hearty as well. Serve it with a crusty bread and a salad for a great no fuss meal.
1/2 lb. butter
4 to 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c. grated Romano cheese, divided
1/4 c. parsley, finely chopped
1/2 lb. dry pasta, your choice
In a small pan, melt butter on low so that it doesn't burn. Add garlic. Simmer the butter sauce on low for 20 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon parsley to the butter sauce, mix well. Add 1/4 cup Romano cheese into the butter sauce 4 minutes before serving.
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. In a large bowl, pour butter sauce on the pasta, mix well. Garnish with remaining Romano cheese and chopped parsley. Serve.
